Meanwhile, back at the Royal Palms cemetery, home to thousands of dead souls and at least 2 Bald Eagles, our now famous friends were enjoying a warm sunny day a couple of weeks ago. They seem to be fine and are drawing birders daily. Can't wait till Spring to see if they have kids.

Clock towers, I imagine, used to be a central part of any big city downtown. Maybe not so much anymore. Some of the inscriptions under clocks in public places are pretty neat, too. One I remember is "Watch your morals young man, time is slipping away." I don't remember where that inscription is from but perhaps engraved in a building in Baltimore, perhaps.
