This kid was pressed into a sports report on the Ball State Public TV channel back in 2005 when the regular sports anchor got sick. He became a viral sensation for his 3 minutes of Hell on view for everyone to see. Well, the kid stayed with it and as of this week has become a sports reporter for a TV channel in Minnesota. Here's to you, Brian, for sticking with it when getting out of the business would have seemed good sense. His signature "boom goes the dynamite" phrase is something students learn in school to make a report theirs, a la Holy Cow for Harry Caray. He can't get anything else right, but he finds a place for his "boom" comment. This is true cringe-worthy stuff and we all have been where this kid is, except not so glaringly. Be sure to have your kids take speech or public speaking in school. Throughout the video you can hear him moan, and whisper things like, "oh, no" and "I'm sorry."
This isn't as bad, but it is another example of a bad start. It's like the perfect storm of everything going wrong.
